We Breathe
Drama.

Every dream has a beginning. Mine began long before I understood what dreams could become. As a child, I loved organising small neighbourhood performances—gathering friends, assigning roles, building makeshift stages, and waiting excitedly for an audience. Only later did I realise those simple moments had quietly planted the seeds of Dramchi.

Theatre always held a special kind of magic for me. The rising curtains, the glow of the lights, and the power of live storytelling captivated me. I was fascinated by how a handful of actors could make an entire audience laugh, cry, reflect, and dream, transporting them to another world for a few unforgettable hours.

Life took its own course, and the dream waited patiently. But some dreams are destined to find their way back to us. In May 2026, that lifelong dream found its name —
Dramchi – Theatre Art & Culture Foundation.

Looking back, the journey feels extraordinary. The old bed sheets that once served as curtains and the makeshift stages built from everyday household items have grown into thoughtfully crafted productions. Yet the wonder has never changed. The child who dreamed behind those homemade curtains still lives in every performance. Dramchi is proof that the simplest beginnings, nurtured by imagination, passion, and belief, can grow into something truly meaningful.
